The SSC CHSL tier 1 Exam is a computer based online test CBT exam conducted online. Candidates are given a total of 60 minutes to solve the SSC CHSL tier 1 paper in hundred question that count to a total of 200 marks. ( 2 marks each question ). For each wrong attempt candidates are penalty with 1/ 2 marks in the tier 1 Exam.

General awareness syllabus for SSC CHSL
Questions from the general awareness section are designed to test the candidates general knowledge of the environment around him and its applications to society questions are also designed to test knowledge of current event and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their society aspect as may be expected of an educated person. English language syllabus for SSC CHSL
English language questions will be asked from the following topics :
Quantitative aptitude syllabus for SSC CHSL :
Number Systems – Computation of whole number, decimal and fractions, relationship between numbers.
Fundamental arithmetical operations – percentage, ratio and proportion, square roots, average, interest CI and SI, profit and loss, discount, partnership business, mixture and allegation, time and distance, time and work.
Mensuration – triangle, quadrilateral, regular polygon, circle, right circular, cone, right circular cylinder, hemisphere, rectangular, rectangular Parallelepiped Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base.
Algebra – basic algebraic identities of school algebra and elementary certs (simple problems) and graphs of linear equations.
Geometry – familiar with elementary geometry figure and facts triangle and its various kind of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, circle and its chords, tangents, angle subtended by chords of a circle, common tangent to two or more circles.
Trigonometry – trigonometry, Trigonometric Ratio, Complementary Angle, Height and distance.
Statistics Charts – Use of Tables and Graphics : Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar-Diagram, Pie Chart.
SSC CHSL syllabus tier 2
SSC CHSL tier 2 exam is a descriptive paper of 100 marks conducted in pen and paper mode only for the candidates who qualified tier 1 there is no negative marking for wrong attempts in SSC CHSL tier 2 exam.
