Scheme of ICG navik Written Exam is as Follow :

• The Written Examination will be of Objective Type.

• The Question Paper Language will be Hindi and English Both.

• There will be 80 question.

• The Time Duration 01 Hour.

• There will be a Composite Paper of 12th Standard.

• there is No Negative Marking.

• Candidate must Read the Instruction in this regard Printed on paper before Proceed.

ICG Navik GD Syllabus is Given below :

Maths – relations and Functions, Logarithms, Sequence and Series, Trigonometry, straight Line, Circle, Conic Sections, Permutations and Combinations, Vector, Sets and Set Theory, Statics, 3D Geometry, Probability Functions, Limits and Continuity, Differentiation, Integrals, Matrices, Determinants.

Physics : Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Lows of Motion, Work Energy and Power, Gravitation, Solids and Fluids, Heat Thermodynamics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Optics, Duel Nature of Matter and Radiations, Principle of communication.

Chemistry : Metals and Non Metals, Organic Chemistry, Solid, Liquid or Gaseous, elements, Periodic Table, Chemical Reactions.

English : Passage, Preposition, Correction of sentences, active passive voice, Narration, Verb/Tense/Non Finites, Punctuation, Substituting Phrasal Verb for expression, Synonyms and Antonyms, Use of adjective, Compound Preposition, Determiners, Use of Pronoun.

GK & Current Affairs : Culture and Religion, Soil, River, Mountain, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement, Sports, Current Affairs, National Fact About India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals and Currency, National Bird/animal etc

Quantitative aptitude and reasoning – Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Classification, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/ Pattern, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural series, Problem solving, Blood Relation, similarities and differences, Word Building, Coding and de-coding, Other sub-topics, if any Numerical operations.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• PFT will be conducted for all those who qualify the written tests.

• The testing procedure will take about 2 days.

The PFT will consist as under :-

• 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.

• 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak )

• 10 Pushup. Candidates undergoing PET will do so at their own risk.

Candidates who qualify the Physical Fitness Test (PET) will only be required to undergo Initial recritment medical examination at the respective recruitment Centres or any other place as decided by the Indian Coast Guard.
